iEAT Cafe

It was Labour Day and I had a feeling most places would be closed. I found this restaurant, iEat Cafe, via Google, called and found that they open 7 days a week.

The place looked really comfortable, situated within a nursery. You can choose to sit inside or outside by a small pool. Saw a barbie outside – you probably can rent the place for a function.

We saw a note at the counter asking us to take a seat first but didn’t realize that we have to take the menu with us. Anyway, server was very attentive and provided us with the menu. As usual, we ordered our flat white dosages first (I think it’s around $4 each).  Our coffee came with a piece of chocolate with sprinkles – nice one!.

First glace at the menu, prices seems above average and its due to the highest quality ingredients used – organic. ‘Traditionally’  I  will order the big breakfast as it has everything and the average price is $14. Here, I have ‘no choice’ but to order the ‘iEat EVERYTHING’ – eggs poached, bacon, tomato, mushroom, chipolatas, hash browns, spinach, avocado and toast – whole meal (which cost a bomb – $20.9) while Ms. L. ordered the ‘BENEDICT’ – poached eggs, ham with hollandaise sauce ($12.9).

Food came after 10 minutes. The ‘iEat EVERYTHING’  has 2 poached eggs, 3 bacon strips,  2 tomatoes, mushroom, 3 chipolatas, 3  hash browns, spinach, avocado and 2 slices toast – whole meal. Portion is very big but with the big price its balanced and tasted ‘normal’ but healthy. The ‘BENEDICT’  is ‘ok‘ too and Ms. L. commented that the hollandaise sauce was tasty.

We might return here if it’s another Pubic Holiday like Labour Day and none of our regular breakfast place is open.
