Before venturing through the stalls, we had breakfast at Mojito, Cafe Bar Lounge which offered a 25% discount off the total bill (up to $25, for dine-in only) via our Greater Melbourne 2011 | 2012 Entertainment™ Book.
I had my Flat White while Ms. L. ordered a Cappuccino. We ordered our coffee in mugs after confirming that mugs come with extra shots. Lil’ M reminded us to order her Babyccino!
It was brunch so I went straight for their version of a big breakfast, Mojito Works – 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushroom, hash brown and toast ($15.9). With bacon on the dish, I had to stress for an extra crisper version and it came in just nice – can’t do more for these short cut bacon (Australian cuts).
Ms. L. had the Corn Fritters – sweet corn, roast capsicum and spices, served with sour cream and house-made tomato relish ($11.9). We also ordered a couple of extras for Lil’ M to share – Mushrooms ($2.5) and Bacon ($3). The corn fritters didn’t taste like the usual ones as there were more flour than corn, and certainly can’t beat our favourite at Mart 130.
Brunch at Mojito was just average and the driver to try this place was the discount from our Greater Melbourne 2011 | 2012 Entertainment™ Book.Mojito Cafe Bar Lounge
