We were at the 2011 Royal Melbourne Show on (Saturday) October 01, 2011; and so happened to bump into one of the Tastes of Victoria stages – Wine Tasting Masterclass with Dan Sims. Dan walked us through five medal wining wines, started with a Riesling and ended with a Shiraz.
Dan gave us a refresher on the basics of wine tasting, as well as exposed us to the specific Victorian wines. It was our first wine-tasting class!
Majority of us did well on the ‘tasting’ part, made us forget about the bad weather outside! Yeah, it was pouring intermittently the whole day!
